Accountant

We are looking for an Accountant to help us manageourfinancial transactions.Accountant responsibilities include auditing financial documents and proceduresandreconciling bank statements. To be successful in this role, you should have previous experience with accountingand a flair for spotting numerical mistakes.

Responsibilities

  • Manage accounting transactions(General Ledger Journals, Debtors and Creditors transactions, Assets, Cash, etc)
  • Ensure timelyand validbank payments
  • Comply with financial policies and regulations
  • Reconciliation of Bank and General Ledger accounts

Requirements

  • 3 years’ work experience as an Accountant
  • Previous experience in Debtors, Creditors and Cash books
  • Excellent knowledge of accounting regulations and procedures, including the Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
  • Hands-on experience with SAGEEvolution
  • Advanced MS Excel skills including VLOOKUP’sand pivot tables
  • Experience with general ledger functions•Strong attention to detail and good analytical skills
  • BTech or National Diploma in Finance, or similar accounting qualification•Additional certification is an added advantage
